Jamie grew up in a small fishing community in South Central Alaska, where she learned early about the true value of community, as well as a deep reverence for the land. She spent her early adult years traveling around the country, exploring and experiencing the vast and diverse treasures our country has to offer. Eventually, she and her husband, Ben, settled in Tri-Cities, Washington, where they lived and raised two sons, for over 20 years. As enmeshed and committed to the area as they were, Jamie and Ben felt the call of the forest, mountains, and sea in every fiber of their being, and seized the opportunity to move to the Olympic Peninsula with Ben’s work at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Jamie has been a realtor in our great state for 10 years. She joins our family after many years with a small, family owned brokerage- not at all unlike our own.
Prior to being a realtor, she was a sales manager and financial manager for a large home improvement company, for over a decade. She has a vast range of knowledge in most home related subjects, and is a contract and negotiation specialist. She prides herself on finding creative solutions to difficult situations. Jamie considers all of her clients to be family, and most of her dearest friends were clients first! Jamie has a tremendous amount of resilience and tenacity when it comes to finding the perfect home for her clients. She believes that there is a home for everybody- and everyone deserves to have a sanctuary of their own. When not out showing houses, you will most likely find Jamie in the forest, the beach, or the mountains. She is an avid hiker, loves to beach comb, and explore all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She is also considered a plant expert and really enjoys growing from seed! She is a certified yoga teacher and reiki practitioner, and loves pondering the mysteries of the earth and the universe. She loves helping out in the community- be it with helping blossoming artists, giving a hand to those in need, or with animals or the land. Finally, we would be remiss to not mention her love of dogs; she has 4 and her motto is- “there is always room for one more!”
